JACKA BAKERY
Jacka Bakery, located at 38 Southside Street in Plymouth, operates from the UK's oldest commercially working bakery. In 2015, the family team of Sue, Paul, their son Owen, and his wife Carly took a bold step by selling their home to purchase this historic establishment.
What began as a small operation crafting sourdough bread and cakes has evolved into an award-winning establishment. The bakery has earned gold at the Tiptree World Bread Awards in London for two consecutive years and features in The Good Coffee Guide (South West). Following the challenges of COVID-19, Jacka transformed into a bakery delicatessen, championing artisanal products from across the South West.
Their commitment to authentic baking sets them apart in Plymouth - every product is made in-house without additives or improvers. This dedication to quality has made them a supplier of choice for many local restaurants and cafes. Their artisanal breads, alongside carefully curated local products from cheese to charcuterie, showcase the best of South West producers.
